weekend getaway
DH and I were married last summer, but were unable to go on a honeymoon. This year, for our one year, we were hoping to do a getaway just for the weekend. I live in middle Tennessee, but I don't want to do the typical gatlinburg cabins in the mountains like a lot of people do here. Any ideas for a romantic weekend getaway?? TIA!~

I guess we would be cheap!! I'm looking for deals. We haven't set up a budget just yet, as this was just a spur of the moment idea. Definately not extravagant.
Go to Memphis! There are LOTS of things to do there (museums, parks...elvis), and great restaurants. Lots of things about it are beautiful and iconic.
For a nice meal I recommend Houston's (having eaten there last week for lunch). Their harvest cheescake was extremely delicious and their shrimp was so fresh I'm pretty sure they must have a live tank somewhere in the back.
