  I have a membership. It's fine. The only complaint I have is that when it got really cold here the last few weeks, it was too warm in the gym; like the heat was on too high.

  They have lots of machines and I've never had to wait. The decor is a tad garish (black, purple, and yellow), but for $10/mo, who can complain.

  No catch. I was a member there for most of last year. They have nice equipment and locker rooms, but there's no classes and no childcare. As for the personal training they advertise, really it's a trainer going through each type if equipment (cardio, upper body weights and lower body weights), showing you how to use the equipment and giving guidance on reps/weight/target heart rate. Once you think you've progressed, you can meet with a trainer again and they'll reassess how you're doing. I always felt really comfortable there-it was a good mix of people: young and old, in shape and not, and everyone was there to work out, not to socialize, like happens at some other gyms.
