Re: Anybody order from Schwan's?
I have ordered through my mom...
the food has been good (depending on what you get though, it can be a little pricey) let me know if you have specific questions...
We would normally buy the ice cream, frozen pretzels (stuffed with cream cheese - OMG), and pizzas. I have never bought meat from them, but you could always just try it once?
Catching up on sports news...
YES! (and I totally made them EVEN WORSE by pouring caramel sauce over them when they came out of the oven) I didn't like them out of the microwave, they were soggy/and tough
I will have to disagree with you there - the vanilla is the best I have ever had!
Am I the ONLY one wondering if the first delivery guy was super sexy and the new delivery guy was a dog?
lol. See, that's the type of thing i would love to say!!
I haven't ever tried it--but honestly, I probably won't ever buy my meat from a source that isn't local and pasture raised anymore. I love grocery shopping/going to the farmers markets, so I would miss that too much to order online.
Lol! No, nothing like that.
The old delivery guy was just super nice who really made an effort to get to know the customers in the neighborhood. I'd buy a few things from him (the grilled salmon was very good) because you could tell he was an honest person trying to make a living for his family, who took pride in his work and took time with his customers. The guy that took over the route isn't as nice and is just sort of like, "Hey, you wanna buy somethin' or what?"
