I realize we normally save this until Friday.
I've taken to listening to Brittany Spears ("Circus", "Piece of Me", "Womanizer", etc.) and Miley Cyrus's "Party in the USA" to get me through the day. LOL
Re: Early Confessions
You poor thing...that would be pure torture for me! Especially the Miley Cyrus one!
I have a doctors appt in the morning that will literally take 20 mins but I'm going to see if I can swing taking the whole day off since it's supposed to ice real bad that afternoon...then maybe I can go grocery shopping in the morning as opposed to tonight.
This isn't really a confession but it made me laugh.
So my sister had this boyfriend in high school (before she started dating my BIL), so they broke up, I forget why. But anyways we always joke about how he was the one that got away (totally in a joking way, my sister and BIL are disgustingly happy and have been together for like 14 years) her ex went to Havard and was super smart and nice and cute. Anyways so he friended me on facebook. He is still super smart, nice and cute. And he is in a serious, long term relationship..................WITH A GUY!!! Hahhahhaha, so now we know why that didn't work out.
So funny. I knew he was too charming to be straight!
Also lately if I have been in a different room than MH, I will call him in on the premise that I need to tell him something, but really I want him to do something for me or get something for me. It goes alittle something like this.
Me: JEREMY!
Him: whats up?
Me: Can you come here plese I need to tell you something?
Him: ok
Me: So I have a doctors appointment tomorrow
Him:I know, I'll meet you there
Me: Ok, while your up can you get me some water?
(insert evil laugh)
Are you talking on Facebook? Because it's easier to just accept friend requests rather than let it sit out there and the other person see you're active, but ignoring their request.
As far as initiating the request, because now that we're older, we're supposed to be above the whole "clique" thing... only people STILL act that way...even on Facebook. LOL So they friend request you to show that they're cool to want to be your "friend" but then you never interact with them. LOL
S/O of this: it's REALLY annoying when people post on Facebook or make blanket statements like "FINALLY, ... there's hope for America" (in reaction to the Republican candidate winning in the MA election.) Um... seriously? Thanks for acting like all Democrats are the Devil (or vice versa.) I don't have loyalties to either side; I vote based on what I think is best regardless of what animal or color happens to be associated with the candidate.
This also applies to people who act like Obama is Satan. He's human. You could've stuck ANYONE in his place, IMO, and people would think he/she did a horrible job. We were kind of in a bind; there's no easy way out of it, regardless of who's leading the charge.
Instead of acting like the other side is newly arrived straight from Hell, how 'bout we learn to work together? That's Kindegarten 101, folks.
I wholeheartedly agree
ROFL... I just realized that this really makes me appear as an uber-liberal, 1960s/hippy love Democrat.
