Oh, thank you and I'm sorry I was so dramz yesterday! I'm doing much better now
. It was just a tough couple of days, with the car thing and the job thing, and I was feeling a bit born-loser-ish. After hearing about some of the cr*p that some of our other lovely Novembies are going through, I am feeling a lot less sorry for myself. It's good to get perspective, although I wish I was getting it elsewhere! I don't like it when bad things happen to my friends.
I also had a great chat with my boss and another lady in my company who is a mentor to me, and they made me feel a lot better about myself. My boss felt that I should have been offerred the job, but says that she is selfishly happy because she wasn't ready for me to leave her yet, and that she will help me find something before my planned move. I am lucky to work for someone who values me.
And I am lucky to have such wonderful friends on the interwebs

I'm glad your boss said she'll help you find another position before you leave. I was wondering if your company realized that they might lose you permantly if you didn't get that position. Trained and competent employees are such an asset, it was be idiotic to look over that fact.
I'm glad you're feeling better! You're still thinking of moving this summer, right?

I was hoping that the fb comment about your boss was that she had done something nice. Especially since you had gone on about how great they were and your relationships with the people you had interviewed with. No doubt that the way things turned out sucks but that just means something even more amazing is out there waiting for your pretty face to show up.
