Prenatal vitamins. Not pg yet, but hopefully will be trying soon. My doctor gave me about 10 samples, and I don't know what to try first. Any suggestions? If it matters, I don't take any vitamins now because I generally feel sick after eating them.
Re: Recommend Your . . .
Oh Fiddles. Well I couldn't remember the name but I still have a few in our medicine drawer.
OB Complete is what my Dr. prescribed. They not once ever made me feel sick. I did however take them at night, usually around 8:00ish or whenever DH took his meds at night.
Spring Valley. I also used to take OneSource (I think, the pink bottle), but got Spring Valley because I couldn't find the pink bottle when I went to buy more. Spring Valley is a one a day. The other I was taking was 2 a day.
Vitamins also would make me very sick. I need to take them with food. Either a couple bites into a meal, or right after. I'm fine as long as I do that.
first of all, don't laugh at me.
flinstones gummies. they taste AMAZING. regular prenatals always made me sick. these actually made me sick the first few times i took them, but my body got used to them quickly.
LOL I took them too and I still am since I'm BFing I always got sick if I took the regular PNVs
I have probably tried over 10 different kinds of PV they make they make me sick also. The only one's that don't are Flintstones! LOL
The doctor told me Flintstones are fine to take since I can't take anything else.
Good luck!
I took 2 regular Flinstones a day, 1 in the morning 1 at night per DR. They are the only ones that did not make me sick. I also Lipil DHA supplement.
Nature Made Prenatals (no preservatives, additives, colors, herbs, etc...and I liked the higher quality calcium, Vit A and Vit D they used).
I take a chewable calcium in the AM sometimes (since the iron in the PNV can block absorption if taken together). If I take them before bed...I don't have problems. When I was dealing with m/s I had to eat a bit of cheese/protein before taking the PNV, or I'd get really nauseous.
