How did everyone's weekends go?

Re: How was your weekend?
I had a good weekend visiting my grandparents. Grandpa had hip replacement surgery last fall and Grandma had her pacemaker replaced. Both are pretty recovered from those. It was nice to see them and they enjoyed having some company.

We had a nice relaxing weekend. Went to dinner and a movie Friday night. We saw The Lovely Bones (which was really good, by the way although I didn't read the book so I can't compare). Saturday we ran some errands and I went to the mall for a bit. Sunday we had church and had a few more errands to run. Then we visited DH's grandmother in the nursing home for a while in the afternoon and we came home and I made some yummy Zuppa Toscana soup (one of DH's fav's).
Happy Monday all!

It was great. Saturday we had my nephew/godson's 9th birthday party. I can't believe he is getting so old. After the party I met a couple of my girlfriends for dinner. I don't get to see them much, so I really enjoyed it.
Yesterday we watched football and I made a corned beef dinner. It was a nice day relaxing at home with my hubby.
Today we are both home sick. I really did not feel well and hubby had a migraine. We are just lazing around today.
I had a good weekend. On Friday my friend/BM who was recently engaged asked me to a bridesmaid in her wedding and we went wedding dress shopping for her. She felt certain she found the one, but when she sent pictures of it to her mom, she wasn't all that excited about it.
Hope she changes her mind when she sees it on her (since the pictures from the Internet and not of her). But we had lots of fun. I also found my BM dress for her wedding (we're just doing LBDs), which I waited until today to get.
Saturday was a pretty lazy day for me, but a friend of ours (the one engaged to the previously mentioned friend and H's best friend/best man) came over and they hung out, and he asked H to be his best man. Then we all went to a friend's house to watch District 9. We had not seen it before and while I thought it was well done, it was too gruesome for me to want to see it again.
Sunday was church and lunch with friends, and then that night I helped out with a church lock-in for the junior high students until about 1 AM before I went home. I slept in some today but am still tired!
It was a great weekend! We had company, a friend of Mike's from OH and his girlfriend.
Friday-They came really late, so we chatted a bit and went to sleep.
Saturday-We slept in and then headed to an early Mexican lunch-yummy! We then headed to a winery, which ended up being a flop. It was seriously like an old house, run down and gross. Luckily, there are tons in our area, so we headed to 3 more, which were great. We then went to dinner at Buca di Beppo and headed back to our home for games and dessert. We played a game and headed to bed.
Sunday-We woke up, Mike literally pushed me out of the bed at 8:15 because we were to leave the house by 9. So, we are sitting there totally ready and not understanding what was going on in the guest room. So, they finally come out and get ready. We leave for breakfast and they look at the clock and tell us that the alarm clock in the guest room is an hour off and they didn't know what time it really was--we all laughed. After breakfast, we headed to Philadelphia to see the sights in the pouring rain (not my idea). We checked out the sights and went to Tony Luke's to get a yummy cheesesteak. We then drove home for wine and games and finally finished the night watching The Proposal.
Monday-We made breakfast before they left, but when they got to the car, it was dead. The boys tried to get it started, but they had to call AAA. Thank goodness it started and they were off to OH. We just cuddled all day after they left.
