your TMI tip of the day

I have to admit that since I've gotten pregnant, care of my nether regions has somewhat fallen by the wayside. Things were getting pretty wild down there, so this morning I decided to tidy up by shaving a bit. Thanks to the massive belly, I haven't been able to actually see down there in weeks (months, even), but I figured I could still do an OK job anyway. So I gave it a shot, and after my shower I took a quick look in the mirror to check how I'd done.

Oh. My. Gawd.

Bald patches, long patches, uneven sides...toss in a little orange dye and I'd look like the Bozo the Clown of the porn industry. I actually started laughing out loud - it's that bad!

So here's your tip of the day: if you can't see what you're doing to your ladyparts, don't do anything at all.

Re: your TMI tip of the day

  • Get a man's facial hair trimmer (forget what they're called, but I'll google and get back to you). They cut the, um, goatee, to 1/8 of an inch and do not cut skin.

  • This one said it's good for hard to reach places... looks like overkill

  • TMI here too but I still get brazilians. Hurts more to get them whilst pregnant though!

Although, the vajayjay is so swollen at the mo, it might be better to cover it with the shag rug....

  • Another TMI... True story BEWARE :)

The morning my water broke, I thought OH $hit!! I haven't "tidy'd up" down there in weeks! I got the trimmer and made DH go to town, we were both laughing that I was crying that my water broke but I was SO concerned that about my girl parts that I took the time to tidy up AND shave my legs and pits!! Who knew who would see it and I didn't want to be known as the "lady with the crazy bush in room 000"... needless to say, I'm sure no one cared but I was sure thankful that I was cleaned up!

This is what I use! I love it, no cuts ever and it's easy to use. BUT when the belly is SO big it was too much work and DH was happy to do it, it was the last time he'd see that girl for months to come!

  • HAHAHAHA! This is a funny post! I agree with the trimmer though!
  • LOL thanks for the tip! I guess I'm not quite there yet cuz I still can see. So I was just wondering...what do you do with the trimmer afterwards? Stash it away and save it for the next pg or wash it out and let DH put it into good use for his haircuts/staches until then?

See this is what I usually do, but I was afraid they'd hurt more right now! Everything is so freaking sensitive down there...

I'm soooo buying a trimmer lol.

We wash it off and DH uses it for haircuts, well more just to trim his sideburns... oh wait I do his sideburn trimming, guess that's why he owed me and had to trim "my parts"! We bought a conair one from walmart for about $10 that works really well.

  • That is hilarious.

I have been wondering what I was gonna do ina few more months when I can't see it anymore.  I guess I need to teach MH ;)
