Re: Has NuvaRing affected anyone's sex drive?
When I first switched my sex drive went up. Things were great. I lost weight, and wanted to do it all the time.
The last few months I think my body chemistry is off, making the post-coital time a little less than awesome, which is in turn making me want to do it less. I have no idea what I'm going to do now, since I suck at taking the pill and want to start TTC in about a year.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
This, minus the cramps. I got in moods where I literally could not stand to be touched. He'd make an advance and I would just shrink away! I morphed into some crazy psycho b*tch from hell, too.
I think my H deserves a medal for sticking by me at that point! The sad part was, we'd just met and had started dating. That year set the tone for the remainder of our sex life.
Watch yourself over the next month or two. I believe it was ring number 4 when things started to go to hell in a handbasket for me.

I have been on it for a couple of years (took bcp's for 10 years) and I have had zero negative side effects.
Sex drive is the same, little weight loss, easy, light period.
It makes me have absolutley zero sex drive. I get in the mood maybe like once every other month. And it makes me moody as hell. But I would never go back to pill bc because I just couldn't take it every day. So I think that it is worth all of the weird side effects.
For the first three months, totally loved it.
Now it's month five and I am moody, irritable, don't like to be touched sometimes, and have zero sex drive. Granted iIt only lasts about one week out of the month, but I HATE IT.
I tried the pill, hated it even worse.
Going to start TTC within a couple years so the IUD is out.
Lame. I don't know what to do birth control wise!
Same exact problem! Did the exact same thing! Is it any better?
