Ok ladies, I went to PF Changs yesterday for the 1st time. I know this is no big deal, but I was so impressed. We do not have any near my old hometown. When I first came to intern with my company, they were going to take me, but there was an hour wait. So we went to another place. DH won't each Chinese food (big surprise), so I have never had the chance to go.
Anywho, I found out that unlike any other Chinese place, they have a special menu for people with allergies (any allergies) and can provide one for him, and they are very aware of cross contamination. So my goal is to convince him to go. I loved the atmosphere, the prices were reasonable, and of course the food was amazing!!
I'd love suggestions of your favorite dishes -- apps, entrees, and desserts. I stuck with my fail safe and got Shrimp Fried Rice. A friend got the dumplings and lettuce wraps that she shared with me and they were delicious too.

Re: PF Changs Poll
Changs is on my top five list of places to eat. All of my special occassion but not fancy occassion meals involve Changs. Yum yum yum. I could eat it at least once a week.
What did you get?
I updated it at the top...I realized after I posted I wanted suggestions for next time =D.
What's your favs??
I have only had one thing that I didnt like from there and it was a dish that D got years ago. Fave apps are the lettuce wraps, and the salt and pepper calamari.
We usually get Mongolian Beef or Beef with Broccoli and the Singapore Street Noodles. D is a little more adventerous and gets fancy things like duck and prawns.
ETA: We really love Chinese food but all of the places around here leave you feeling greasy and dirty on the inside when you leave. Changs is more of a fusion restaraunt but it doesnt leave me with that feeling which is why I think I enjoy it so much.
I like it ok. I'm a huge fan of the lettuce wraps, but while everything else is good, it's not that much better than other good independant Chinese food places I've been to. But I am into it if we do go. There's one near Hofstra I used to go to, but there aren't any in NYC so I'm rarely near one anyway.
I like it ok. I agree with Veruca that it is very americanized.
ITs good, its always consistant...I would go to the bamboo Club over changs. I do love their Pei Wei "fast food" chains!
I like the lettuce wraps, orange peel chicken and mongolian beef
never been, either... not sure where one is nearby...
We're originally from right outside of Pittsburgh. When we were younger, there weren't any. According to their website, there are 2 locations in the area now -- I still haven't seen either...
Here's what I got searching Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
Thanks for the info! I knew they built one in Robinson but it's still an hour drive to either from where we live. I don't see DH wanting to go that far for Chinese food!
My BF gets that and it is SO good.
We all went there during our GTG in Vegas! Someone should post a pic!
I like the bangkok noodles.
WOW, there's one in Collegeville?! It's such a small town. I wonder were it is. They must be building it up since I lived there.
I agree with Agent- Pei Wei is pretty good.
You're probably right. According to their website, it was just built in the end ov Nov., so it's quite new.
Oh man, the Chipotle episode was almost as bad.
"Why don't you just STOP eating Chipotle?!"
