I got a Canon 7D!!
With all the stress about my relocation and with DH here all weekend, I forgot to tell you girls that I got a 7D!
I haven't been able to go out and play with it yet, but so far I love it!
I was gonna get another 50D, but decided to pay the extra $ to get the better ISO...it was so worth it! Plus it's a lot faster.
Someday I'll get a 5D to be able to hang out with the cool kids (hehehe), but for now that that is more than enough for what I want to use it.

Congrats! That sounds like a lot of fun. The old 5d is becoming extinct, I'm curious when they will upgrade the full frame line again and maybe the 5d mk II will come down in price.
I'm pretty sure that the 7d has better ISO capability than the 5d, but I wouldn't give up my full frame for anything.
First of all you do no suck!
Now about the pictures, have you try changing the aperture? And than maybe play with the focal point manually.
That's awesome normailed! Let me know how you like it!! when I upgraded from the XSi to the 50d, I toyed with the idea of getting the 7d too. the 50d won in the end though.
Someday I will join you & the cool kids and get a 5d too!

Oh I've definitely done that. Almost all of my pictures I end up focusing manually.
What happened is that I had a pixel burn out on my sensor, so I sent it to canon to get it fixed, which they did. But now, auto focus is completely worthless with any lens on any aperture. I have it set on just the center focal point, but it will only AF on whatever is closest to the left side of the frame. I'm taking it to the shop finally today. We'll see if it can be fixed.
I love DH's 50D, for me they are both awesome...of course I love mine better because is mine, but he also loves his better because it's his.
Oh that sucks! They better fix it ASAP!
