I have a flying question.
Yes, it's stupid. But when I think about flying, my pulse quickens.
If I check in online the night before my flight, and I'm checking a bag, do I still need to go to the ticket counter to give them my bag, or do I give it directly to the baggage guys in the lobby of the airport? I can't find an answer for this on the airline's website, or the airport's. It's my #1 source of anxiety, believe it or not.
Re: I have a flying question.
I just a friendly gal looking for options.
i do this with US Air all the time when I fly for work becaue it's cheaper to pay for the bag online. The Phila airport has kiosks where you scan your CC that you used to pay for the bag, you answer a few questions, set your bag on the scale and wait for the receipt. It's in the same area as the check in counters, but much easier/quicker to do so online than to wait for an agent.
can't you just wear all of your clothes at once and tape your toiletries/successories to your thights as if they were bricks of cocaine? you won't pay a checked bag fee.
What Barbie said.
I'm pretty sure the DM airport doesn't have those, Barbie/Pmeg. When I was there with H over the holidays, I didn't see anything like that.
Maybe I'll just check in when I get there and let them take care of me. I'll be less likely to pass out that way.
You can still check them online, and just walk up to the counter. Even if they don't have the electronic kiosks. When you do it, just make sure you print any sort of confirmation you get that you've paid.
I'm trying to remember what I did at some of the smaller regional airports. I don't check bags often.
This is what I'll do. Thanks!
