For all you pet lovers . . .

Hey girls, I know I don't post often on this board (or any for that matter) but I do keep up with y'all. I just saw this on Facebook and couldn't help but share.  Warning - this will make you smile, laugh and cry at the end, but it is truly touching. I know there are a lot of ladies on this board with rescued pets and figure you'd love this (at least the beginning) as much as I do.

  • Wow, that's so sad. I'm sitting at my work computer with tears streaming down my face. And I forgot I wore make-up today, so I wiped my eyes.
  • I even read it despite the warning... So sad! But I hope he got his point across. My boys are family... Even when they sh!t on the floor!

  • Rachel, I completely agree, I hope this guy got his point across too.  Too many people treat see their dogs as a burden or an accessory when their life situation changes, and in the case of this guy, move away for one reason or another and leave their dogs behind when they absolutely could have prevented it.  It's so sad, I could never imagine doing that to my dog!

  • gaaaaaaaaaaah kill me now! So sad
  • Glad I waiting until tonight to read this!  I would have been a mess a work.  One of my students works at a shelter where they euthanize and it pains me to go in and check on him because I have to see all the dogs!
