random poll: what do you change into when you get home?
For those of you who have to wear traditional "work clothes,"
1) Do you change right away when you get home?
2) Do you change into loungy clothes or right into your PJs?
I pretty much want to get out of my work clothes as soon as I walk into the house. I often used to change right into my PJs, but then I've had some jobs with long hours and my PJs are often sweatpants and a t-shirt/sweatshirt. Nowadays I'm more likely to change into loungy clothes, but that's still pretty much sweatpants and the like
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: random poll: what do you change into when you get home?
I wear regular clothes (jeans and a shirt) to work, but I'll answer for DH.
He changes right when he gets home into jeans, and sometimes a different shirt depending on what he wore to work.
I don't change until after I shower when I put on my PJs.
Ideally I would be changing into gym clothes, but that hasn't been happening lately.
If it's freezing I stay in my work clothes because I can't stand the thought of being even partially undressed for two seconds. If I'm warm enough, I change into lounge clothes, then PJs later. I feel like too much of a bum if I get into my PJs right away, even if it means changing from one t shirt to another when it's time for bed.
2) Do you change into loungy clothes or right into your PJs? PJs if I'm alone or with H. If a friend is coming over, I'll get dressed up in sweats. Either way, the bra comes off asap (sorry if that's TMI).
Haha, that's how I'd describe myself too!
Sounds like most of us are all about the comfy clothes (that's what I call them).
When I was working in an office...
1. Yes, except on Fridays, since that was casual so I just changed my shoes, usually. I came home and put on jeans or capris and something more casual on top and walked the dogs right away.
2. Once I got home, I usually stayed that way but sometimes I put on juicy pants or yoga pants instead.
I do work from home now and do get dressed every morning, but I go to the gym almost every night, so once I get home, I shower, then put on sweat pants, juicy pants, and a tank top.
1 - yes, I change pretty quickly when I get home.
2 - I usually put on a pair of well broken in jeans or sweatpants. I also tend to go for a t-shirt or sweater ( or sweatshirt if it's really cold).
I save pj's for bedtime because I don't want to walk the dog in public wearing pajama's.
This is me, too. Or, I'll get into my gym clothes. But I'm all over getting rid of the bra.
Of course this is all moot right now since I am still job hunting.

I often leave my coat on for a while too, sometimes for an hour or more!
I work in healthcare, so we have a pretty casual dress code at the office...it's business casual, but we tend to lean more to the casual side, even wearing scrubs some days...so I rarely change when I get home...I usually do keep my coat on at least until the dog is walked too.
I think H usually changes as soon as he gets home because he wears "smart" clothes to work...
