3. How much time does it take you to get home from work (or school)? Only ten minutes for my office job. 45-60 for my teaching job (but that's only twice a week and it's an easy drive!)
4. What is the one item in your closet you are most thankful for owning? My rain boots this week!

7. What are you making for dinner tonight? It's my teaching night so I packed leftovers for me and DH will be going out or eating leftovers as well.

10. Do you watch sports with your husband? If so, which ones? If not, what do you do while he is watching sports? He loves the Lakers so I watch some of the not so stressful games with him. When I'm not watching, I do whatever... clean, go out with a girlfriend, bake, read... depends on the day.

I read my Pottery Barn catalog, Allure, Martha Stewart Living, and Self. I don't read books.

I seriously live right across the street from the college I work at, so it takes me 4 minutes if I drive. 10 minutes if I walk.

Of course my wedding dress, my BCBC sweater I found at an outlet mall that was crazy expensive and I got it for $20, and I keep my jewelry in my "joan rovers" hanging bag....and I have a cameo necklance my grandmother gave me that I love.

We own....bought our house last March...

I have no clue...I have hip hop/zumba class so whatever the DH cooks up!

When my DH is home (off work) we go to lunch. But when he is flying (working) he will call me from the cockpit and let me know where he is or just to say hi.

We both watch football, baseball, basketball, tennis, or Nascar together if we both feel like watching. We really are into College football and college basketball and Nascar. But no my DH does not have to take over the tv or leave the room to watch sports...

Chapstick. Haha, a rarely wear make up, but I can't leave the house without chapstick (usually cherry Softlips).

Well, I subscribe to People so I read that every week... does that count? I got several books for Christmas that I haven't started yet. Super Freakonomics, for one, from DH. You know how people say, "I couldn't put that book down"? Yea, I have the opposite of that.
3. How much time does it take you to get home from work (or school)?
In minutes, around 15 or 20. In miles, it's probably about 10.
4. What is the one item in your closet you are most thankful for owning?
My Snuggie! Ok, that's not in my closet... warm sweaters! I'm cold all of the time.
5. What are you getting your husband for Valentine's Day?
Honestly? Nothing. I just got him a PS3 for the wedding and a Droid cell phone for Christmas. Both were pretty large presents for him. We're trying to save money for SIL's destination wedding in May, so we'll probably go out to dinner for V-day and call it good.

Rent and love it.
7. What are you making for dinner tonight?
DH makes dinner. I don't know what we're having tonight... I usually don't know in advance. Last night, we had steak sandwiches. We had meatball sandwiches the night before that - those seem kind of similar, but we had to use the bread.
I'm wondering if we'll have spaghetti and leftover meatballs tonight.

We may text during the day if we have a question (like yesterday when I texted him to ask how the vet appointment went), but for the most part, no.

Rainy. It's not too terribly cold (for January in the midwest), but I don't think I've seen the sun for at least a week!

Yep! We always watch the Notre Dame football games on Saturdays and the Chicago Bears game on Sundays, if we get it in our region. If not, sometimes we go to a bar to see it. He bleeds navy and gold... and orange! Haha... then we both love the St. Louis Cardinals, of course! Sometimes he gets into watching NBA or soccer and I just can't watch either one of those. I try to get him to watch those in the bedroom so I can have the DVR to catch up on Days of Our Lives.

Maybelene Mascara, in the gold old pink and black tube. Even my make up artist used it for the wedding!

Vegetarian Times for food, Oxygen, Runner's World and Bicycling for fitness.

45 minutes if I drive, 60ish for the train.

Womens Health, Cooking Light, InStyle for magazines...I read constantly (my dream is to be a librarian after all) and right now I'm reading Random Family, non-fiction about the Bronx during the 80s and (SHHH, no one knows this but DH) LA Candy, that Young Adult book Lauren Conrad wrote (it was like, 8 dollars at Target and I love me some Lauren).
3. How much time does it take you to get home from work (or school)?
40 minutes usually, depends if I walk right to the metro line that takes me home or if I use the one closest to my building but have to transfer.
4. What is the one item in your closet you are most thankful for owning?
I love a lot of things in my closet! But, the thing I am most thankful for is my Ann Taylor Loft black sheath dress that I wear at least once a week! It works with a long sleeved top under it, sweater or jacket over it. It is so comfy and functional and I feel fab in it (I am wearing it in my siggy pic

He loves soccer...I'm thinking something for his team, Real Madrid, but it is hard to get stuff in the states!

Rent but have started talking about buying a condo...still not sure what is right for us right now. That, however, is a whole other post.

No clue. Possibly takeout. I have a happy hour after work. If I am feeling ambitious, I have a schezuan pork recipe I want to try.

We talk on gchat all day off and on, then of course in the morning and at night.

I work in the basement and haven't been outside all day....apparently it is 43 and cloudy.

DH has a man cave for a reason! He isn't a huge sports guy (outside of La Liga), but he will watch with friends. He got into the college football thing year. I will watch soccer with him as long as it isn't on the spanish speaking stations because a) I don't understand enough to follow and b) I hate how they yell GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLL repeatedly every time anyone gets one. So, he often watches in his man cave while I watch tv in the livingroom or read.

I am a HUGE Saints football fan (one more game and we make it to the Superbowl what what!!!) but he is a Redskins fan so Sunday/Monday football is a staple for us. Other than that I will watch most stuff with him but I don't get in to anything other than football.

2. What magazines or books are you reading these days? I got a subscrption to Southern Living for Christmas which I am enjoying... lots of good recipies and gardening tips. And I'm trying to get motivated to read a book about success... I can't even remember the name... some motivation!
3. How much time does it take you to get home from work (or school)? my commute is abot 15 minutes without traffic, with moderate traffic, about 30
4. What is the one item in your closet you are most thankful for owning? a little black kimono dress... I LOVE IT!!! It's the most comfortable thing I own and I can wear it to work or as a casual piece.

10. Do you watch sports with your husband? If so, which ones? If not, what do you do while he is watching sports? I'll watch Saints or Alabama football on TV, I can watch just about anything else live except tennis or golf, he likes NASCAR but I can't get into it.

I'm not much of a make-up person but I ALWAYS need to have lip gloss close at hand! I also use a volumizing mousse everyday cause my hair is a little thin these days

I read People magazine religiously, I look forward to getting the mail on Fridays cause I know it will be in there! Also, I just recently ordered the Sookie Stackhouse novels and am looking forward to getting started on those...I've heard they're awesome! They're scheduled for delivery today...Come on UPS!!!

Right now, probably my wedding dress. I know...super cheesy!!

I'm thinking of buying some sassy lingerie and cooking him a romantic dinner. It doesnt take much to please DH, good food and good...well you know LOL

We don't typically talk throughout the day, but he calls me everyday on his way home

Thankfully, my DH is NOT a sports nut. He'll watch baseball (which I actually enjoy watching) and football and thats about it. Usually I'll sit and watch with him, but sometimes I'll read a book or magazine on the couch with him while he's watching. I'm not a huge sports fan...and I don't understand football AT ALL!!

I have a subscription to People that I read weekly. Currenly I am studying for my PMP so the only book I am allowing myself to read is related to project management. Once that is done I have 8 books waiting for me as my reward.

WAY TOO LONG...I live 60 miles from the office so at least 1.25 hours.

Blankets, I am always cold so I often have to grab extras.

We are paying of our debts to save up for IVF so we are not doing gifts. We will cook dinner and each make each other something special to eat...that's our gifts to each other.

Technically we rent...my mom bought our house as I was going through a messy divorce but we pay the mortgage and eventually will buy it from her.

We ate out tonight as we were running errands...first time we ate out in over a month so it was a nice treat.

On weekends we text but during the week just when we leave and come home.

Yes, I am more of the sports fan. I love football (both college and pro). I was a gymnast so I also dvr a lot of meets.

Oh, dear! I last used make-up when I was in high school. The only exception was my wedding day, when it was done by someone other than me.

This varies from day to day. I tend to have several by my bed, and alternate among them.

Very little indeed, since I work from home.

Really comfy shoes. They are supposedly orthopedica shoes, which I don't actually need, but they look good and feel great!

No idea. We don't usually exchange presents for Valentine's Day, other than little things like candy.
