I'll ask the same thing as I did in the original post - how watery/liquidy was it? Did you have to thicken it up at all?
At the end you mix together 1/4 cup cornstarch with 1/2 cup water and add it to the stew and it thickens it up quite a bit. The recipe said that if it didn't thicken up right away, to let it cook for an extra 30 minutes or until it does thicken. Mine thickened up right away though, so I didn't have to worry about cooking it a little longer. I think it helped that I cooked it on high instead of low.
