    Here's something juicy.  I have a friend who has been talking for months about leaving her husband.  Most recently she's been talking to/about this guy from another state who she said she met a "long time ago."  I'm not sure how, but he got my cell number (I think she may have called him from my cell at some point so her husband wouldn't know but I'm not sure - she did borrow my cell once about 2 months ago).  Anyway, he texted me about a week ago and said something about how he knows I don't like him and I think he's just some guy that my friend met over the internet but he really cares for her.

    Surprise

    She met him over the internet?  Have I mentioned that he's married with kids???  And she KNOWS? 

    I need new friends.

    ETA: My confession out of this is that I haven't told her about the text I got from him.  I don't know if I will either.  Mostly because I don't know how to bring it up.

    I told MH that we would prob. have more sex if he lost weight. He's already lost 10 lbs. in 2 weeks.

    I was a really bad wife on Wednesday night.  I kept telling MH that he was being a baby and he mades things worse on himself by complaining so much...man did I feel about 2" tall when the doctor told me he had to go to the emergency room for possible appendicitis.  I won't be living this one down for a long time.

    This isn't really a confession but more of a vent...my MIL is suddenly calling now.  She's heard through the grapevine about Derick being ill so she keeps calling the hospital.  We haven't talked to her in about 2 years.  Now I'm refusing to answer the hospital phone in fear it's her.  DH refuses to talk to her.  When she called at 6am this morning I did answer and she was probing me for gossip on Derick's brothers since she doesn't talk to them.  She had heard about my SIL having a miscarriage and then she had the nerve to tell me that one of us better produce!  I was so pissed...I told Derick thank god it was icy out and she couldn't get over here to act like she cares because they'd probably be admitting her after I got through with her.

    I grew up in the country (I think all of you know that).  I mean.. MIDDLE OF NOWHERE country.

    And now... as we drive out of the city, my stomach knots more and more the further "into nowhere" we get. Tongue Tied  Like, it can get borderline panic attack sometimes if we're really out there.

    I can't wait to take a shower!  Although I feel like I look fairly decent for what little sleep I got.  I'm half tempted to use the shower here but I don't have any shampoo.

    I've spent the past week catching up on missed episodes from the first season of Lost.  Today,  I'm streaming them to my computer through netflix at work.  I'm still working but I'm taking more "breaks" than normal to pay attention to the show.
