How do you snap out of a bad mood?
Are you a cleaner? Do you put on your favorite show? Blare music while driving down the highway?

Does this mean you're in a perpetual bad mood?
Lucy Elizabeth 10.27.12
It means I hate my job and therefore have a lot of stress.

It depends on what is causing the bad mood...
If I'm really pissed off at a particular individual, I clean and/or go to the gym. I need activity to calm myself down.
If I'm just in a funk because of work/school/the world, I curl up in bed or on the couch with my favorite blanket and a good movie or TV show or book. I those cases, I usually just need comforting items to soothe myself.
if im really angry, i'll furiously clean
if im down, ill watch a comedy
if i am stressed, i want a hug from DH or my kitty cat
lucky, it has definitely crossed my mind that it's taking me longer to snap out of this mood because I'm on a shopping freeze! I need a new outlet!

If it's because of DH, I vent and/or cry. Then immediately feel sorry and apologize. Mood better.
If it's something non-DH related, I talk to him, my mom, or my girlfriends. Sometimes I journal. Sometimes I work out. And often, I drink a lot!
Ditto that. Alcohol has a tendency to make everything feel better if consumed in the appropriate quantities and accompanied by something (anything) to make me laugh just a little. I'm an overly emotional drunk, so whatever emotion I have, it's to the extreme.
