The doctor came in around 8:30 and said they were going to let him eat some liquids and try to get him out of here around lunch depending on how well he held the food down. Last night was a little rough. Derick slept well but I on the other hand was not so lucky. I didn't have a chair that folded down so it was very difficult. I think I finally got about 2 hours of sleep on the floor and was able to squeeze in the bed for about 2 hours. It's also hard to sleep when nurses are coming in and out or the iv machine is beeping. Derick is just anxious to get out of here and it'd be nice to get things back to normal. Thank you ladies for all your t/p again!

Re: Update
Sure are...the family doctor wanted us to go to radford but I didn't want to drive all the way over there in the bad weather and we are more comfortable here anyways. All the nurses and doctors have been more than nice and helpful. For being a hospital stay it's been pleasant.

I had a bad experiences at MRH but I've heard that it's gotten a lot better since then (It was 2000, I think, when I had my experience). I'm glad you guys are comfortable there! I wouldn't have wanted to drive to Radford in last night's weather either!
Yeah they haven't always gotten the best reviews and they pissed us off last year once too but it's definitly better now.
