Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

In Law Vent
H's Dad turns 50 this weekend. Two of his sisters, his Mom and I all threw his Dad a surprise 50th Birthday party on NYE. We had planned this since the summer, and it went really well. He was surprised because the party was a few weeks before his birthday. It was a great time.
Tonight I come home from work to an email from my favorite SIL asking me if we were going to be able to make it tomorrow night to FIL's birthday dinner in Ipswich at 7pm! No one ever told/asked us about a dinner. This is the first we are hearing about it. We can't go of course because we don't get home until 6:30-7, and Ipswich is an hour away at least. Not to mention we have Luka....I would never leave him crated the time I am at work PLUS time for us to drive to Ipswich, have dinner and then get home. I am just so annoyed because I know H would love for us to have been able to go and there is just no way. I just think it is inconsiderate for them to plan this kind of stuff without seeing if everyone can make it.
