Pain during penetration

This maybe TMI..if so I apologize.

During penetration I feel like the perenium (the skin btwn vag and anus) feels tender and feels like its stretching.  It hurts.  Does anyone else have this problem?  How do I fix this problem?

TIA

Re: Pain during penetration

  • I have this problem too.  If you figure out how to fix it, let me know.  Sometimes i'ts really painful, other times there's nothing.
  • Yes, and I've been seeing a specialist to treat it with decent success so far.  You can send me a PM if you'd like.....I'd rather not put the whole story out to the general public.
  • When I feel that sort of pain it usually is because I am not wet enough. Getting rid of the pain may be as simple as buying a bottle of lube.
  • More foreplay for all!!!
  • It's definitely not a lube problem.  I've  already ruled that out.  Its more of the skin feeling stretched and chafing.
  • Does the chafing occur in every position?

My guess would be that when his penis enters at a more downward angle, it pulls at your perineum more than during other times.  Perhaps a pillow under your a$$ would shift the angle and make you more comfortable.

  • I've treated that problem too with the help of a medical professional. You are more than welcome to PM me if you want details of treatment.

Good luck. I do recommend scheduling a doctor's visit. Pain during intercourse is not as rare as many think.

  • It could be vulvadynia.  I would definetly see your obgyn.  I did and she is sending me to a specialist.  Birth control can also be the cause of tenderness around the vagina.  Good Luck I know what a mood killer pain can be for both partners.

Is he groomed down there?  How are you groomed?  I notice that when I let myself be a little more natural I don't have this problem as much.  Also, if he is really closely groomed it can cause issues as well.
