Newborn shedding skin - any tips?
We have our newborn photo's scheduled for tomorrow, and my little one has started shedding skin. It's all flaky and peely.
I know this is normal, but I'm wondering if any of you ladies have a suggestion of what to put on it to mask the "snake skin" look for a few hours tomorrow.
I tried putting some Aveeno baby dry skin creme on it, but it didn't seem to do much...

Hey Shannon!! My mom suggested putting about 1 tbsp of baby oil in her bath water and that'll moistureize her skin. Good Luck!

G has this too. The Dr just suggested Aveeno baby lotion, which is what we'd been using. I don't think there's too much you can do about it though. We use it on him daily and I usually moisturize his hands (and cover with mitts due to his Freddy Kruger nails) and feet a few times a day as they are the worst.

I will try the baby oil bath and then lather her up with the Aveeno!
