I keep having dreams that I'm cheating on my husband Huh? I love my husband and would never cheat on him, but I just keep having these dreams. They get pretty steamy too....

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

No I don't always recognize the other person. I did last night, it was an Afflack representitive that came to my work and talked to us. How random!?

We are going through a bit of a rough patch sexually, maybe once or twice a week, but not emotionally at all. I have no desire to really cheat on him, we haven't been fighting or anything.

I also have dreams that he is cheating on me! It's just weird! I looked it up and found a site that said I might be insecure (dreams where he's cheating on me) or guilty of something (me cheating on him.) It said the guilt could be from not doing your best at work, cheating on a test, silly things like that.

The weird thing is, I kind of enjoy the dreams? Like I've said several times, never ever in real life, but I don't wake up feeling guilty...just turned on...

I've never been in a dream where I intentionally was cheating, but I've had plenty of incredibly steamy sex dreams with random people that I don't think exist, though I keep in mind during them that in real life I am taken. I don't know why it happens but it does. Apparently it's normal and healthy, so long as there is no underlying reason for you to cheat. As long as you two are both happy and steady then everything could just be your mind giving you some extra fun on the side without harming anyone.

Yeah that works. And I actually don't mean that in the dreams I am consciously cheating, just doing something with someone else, so I guess when I wake up I feel like I was cheating. Does that make sense?

I understand. These dreams are pretty normal. Whether people are in a rut or not, they have these dreams. We are mere human right? But the thing is they are just dreams, no harm no foul. Same goes for looking at the opposite sex, none of us are dead right? So we are going to look.

I had a dream where I was cheating on my H with Colin Firth. Except it was pretty much just me pawing at him and trying to take his clothes off, and Colin Firth being all British and telling me that we really oughtn't, because we're both married.

I have dreams like this more than I'd let people know.. haha!! I'll either have a crush on a guy in my dream ((of which I dont even know in real life)), or I'll have dreams with random HS school friends that I havent talked to in years, and it'll get steamy (not intercourse sexual, but other stuff). But in my dream, I never recognize that I'm cheating or even married, it's just... there. I do always wake up thankful that my hubby is next to me!

Ive heard it's very normal and me and my gfs talk about this sometimes, and they have it happen too!

Every time my DH and I don't have enough sex (we are sexually incompatible I'm sure) I have hot steamy sex dreams, usually with multiple people. Its always ppl I don't know. I kinda enough these dreams though! As soon as dh and I have sex again, the dreams go away!

i have dreams where i have steamy sex with guys i know and guys i don't know. sometimes i am single in these dreams other times i am aware that i am cheating. i also have dreams where DH cheats on me

i figure they are dreams, i dream all kinds of crazy stuff, and i don't read into it.

I've had dreams like this, I usually don't know the person and they get pretty hot and heavy. I just chalk it up to it being a dream and go on.

I have had dreams that I am married to someone else (no one I have recognized in the dream). Whenever I have a dream like this and wake up to see my DH, I feel soooo relieved!

I might get totally flamed for this, but I really enjoy the sex dreams. I would never cheat, I love DH immensely and am completely satisfied in our marriage. DH and I have a great sex life, but it's no longer the exciting head spinning kind of experience you get with someone 'new'. I get that feeling again when getting hot and heavy with new guy in my dreams. Sometimes I'm aware that I'm married to someone else, sometimes I'm not. Either way, I prefer to really enjoy the experience rather than to feel guilty over it. We're animals, we have a sex drive. Nothing wrong with that, so long as it stays in your head. Kind of like fantasizing about someone else... and I doubt anyone can say they've never done that...(mmm.. yes, Brad Pitt, right there, oohhh yeah.. you're so big... )

I have had dreams that I meet some hot celebrity and I want to do them, etc, but I can't because it would be cheating so I am so irritated when I wake up because I am like, "It was a dream, I could have done it in a dream!!!"

I think dreams are just your subconcious going wild, I wouldn't read that much into it, but I am sure some people will.
