Is the DFW nest board BASICALLY just the DFW BNOTB board?

Cause those of you with kids/want kids/are TTC are on the bump?

I'm just curious. There is a HUGE batch of knotties who never made the switch, and a HUGE batch of nesties that left for the bump board, so really, who is left, but more importantly... WHY?

I lurk! I have started getting active on the H&F board (which I am totally loving)... I wasn't active on the knot board while I was planning. I was active on the destination wedding board... so coming over here I didn't really know anybody (except for JacAg who I know IRL...)

I am going to start checking over here more often to see if we can get this board much more active! Smile

I've generally been more of a lurker the whole time I've been on here (about 5 years now), but lately if I did post something, there was no response really, so it's like, why bother?

I'm not planning a wedding or a newlywed, and I'm not in kid mode yet, so I'm stuck with this board. Apparently, us non-newlywed/non-kid people are a rare breed.

I'd love for people to post more about the stuff they do and the places they go because a lot of good recs I've found came from this board! Also, if there's people working on fitness stuff, I'd like to hear about it here with fellow local people (even though we have a H&F board, but there's local things around here we can talk about).

I do check this board every now and again, just out of habit I guess. But it is pretty dead on here, so I haven't really responded to much lately. I'm not on the knot anymore as I'm done w/ weddings (and don't live in DFW) and I'm not on the bump really b/c I'm done being prego for now (there are the after baby is born boards on the bump but I just don't have time for a lot of those now that Mallory is here). So...I just check every so often on here to see if I'm missing something, but usually I'm not. I wish it was more active on here- I miss all the old days of knottie/nestie chit chat.

I still check this board, I post some, but a lot of the times, what is posted are reccommendations for things I do not have any recs for. I mostly post on 2nd tri. Most of the girls that got married when I did never switched over from the knot, which is too bad, because I loved some of those girls! I posted on the knot some for awhile, but I do not like the new format over there and I am so far past wedding planning that most of the stuff doesn't interest me any more.

I haven't been on here in forever! I never really got into the Bump since my "babies" are older and things just died down over here. Also, I can only keep up with so much internet - right now it's Facebook. I think most of the girls that were active on here and the Knot back in the day are connected on Facebook.

I use to knot/nest at work but I've just been too busy. I try to catch up on the weekends. I never go to the bumb because I didn't think the DFW board was for TTC so much as those pregnant or those with kids. And I haven't been to the knot forever.

Seriously, I think a lot of the girls that were here all the time are still on but have moved back to theknot...I don't see them on the bump or here so that has got to be it.

I still check this board daily but sometimes there isn't even a post a day...we gotta do something to liven things up around here!

I still check the board from time to time - but I am so grouchy these days that I don't want to post something that may be hurtful or mean to anyone - because it would so not be intentional to do that - just a result of my raging hormones. Super Angry

I still check this board pretty regularly. I didn't even know any DFW people moved to the DFW bump board... I also lurk on several of the national boards but since I'm usually only on in the evening I don't post as much.
