It has been four months since my daughter was born. At first are sex life was normal after I healed but now I never have the energy or the interest and I am afraid it is going to effect my marriage. Help!
Re: No sex after baby
I'm not a parent, but I would imagine with a new baby, there isn't much time for anything! However, the more you have sex, the easier it should be to get more interested in it and do it more. Sometimes you've got to just force yourself, so to speak. Try to find the time, here and there (probably easier said then done). You'll realize the more you have it, the more you'll both want it and the closer you will both feel to eachother.
GL!
Hang in there! The combination of motherhood/wife roles take a toll, and hopefully you're DH is understanding. I *think* most husbands would be.
DS is a little over 2, and our "life" is not even close to what is used to be. By the time I'm done with our evening routine, the only thing I want to do is sleep. ha ha ha
Four months? It can take a year for the hormones to settle down. Let alone the stress and sleep deprivation.
Don't be so hard on yourself.
Just keep working at it without being surprised or disappointed. It will all click sooner or later. DH should not be disappointed as long as you are giving it a respectable effort.
