I met Mr. T when I was young, maybe 8 or 9? There was a gameshow on called Win, Lose or Draw that would feature 2 celebrities each week. One celebrity would be on each team with the contestants. It was taping a week's worth of show's in Philly one Saturday and my parents thought it would be fun to take me and my best friend down to see it. The producers picked us out of the audience and had us sit down on the floor of the stage. The other celebrity was a model Carol Alt who was a model in the 80s, but she's not as funny to say that you met as Mr. T. For the life of us, neither me nor my friend Amy can locate the pictures of this fine day. Sad

I was "stillborn". Apparently I decided swallowing my waste while mom was in labor was a good idea, stopped breathing, no heart beat, the works. Obviously it didn't stick and my parents were blessed with a 5lb 5oz red headed screamer that continued to annoy them until oh...I don't know 1/22/10 Wink

I skipped 8th grade and went straight into high school from 7th leaving me still 16 when I left for college.

I've had 3 c sections and have numbness on my lower stomach...which, believe it or not is a good thing! I have always hated anyone touching my belly button or stomach in general- it skeeves me out!

So now it's not so horrid if someone tries to tickle me- I can almost stomach it! Stick out tongue

I'm adopted. As in, birthmom gave me up at birth, i was put into a "foster situation" and then adopted out after 30 days. I found and was reunited with my birth mom in 2001. It's been interesting since and the longer we've been reunited the more weird things are the more i've actually learned about the adoption process. Like... they don't place babies for 30 days to check their temperament and basically "screen".

I have a baby story too! My parents love to tell this story

After I was born, I was kept in the nursury until my mother was ready for feeding times. When they brought her a baby with a full head of black hair, she freaked out and cried "That's not my baby! My baby has red peach fuzz!" They had switched me and another little one in our baby beds. Big oopsie for the nurses! Mom can't remember if my wrist tag was switched, but thank goodness I was a little bald redhead and didn't have a full head of black hair like my little sister did. Or I'm sure I would have gone home with the wrong family!

LOL! It fueled the fire to my thinking that I was kidnapped! I swore my parents weren't my real parents because they have brown and black hair and dark eyes and I have blue eyes and had orange hair as a kiddo. We lived in San Diego and never saw our families in the midwest. I didn't realize that our family had several little redheads running around. I had a big weird imagination looking for myself on milk cartons!

I was born a month late in a blizzard in the middle of May. I was due April 20th (hence the name) and born May 17th. They actually closed the roads the day I was born and my parents drove 60 miles down a closed interstate to get to the hospital so I could be born! I guess that's what you get when you live in a tiny town (250 people) in Wyoming.
