In case you want your child to sounds like a chew toy

Shoes that squeak when they walk.  lol

They are adorable shoes but I am not too sure that I would want to hear that every step of the way.

But I would most definatley buy these....

  • I think 5 minutes of that would drive me completely insane.

  • Those will be added to the list of things I will never buy my future child.  The list also includes those shoes with the wheels in the bottom.

Embarrassed My husband has shoes with wheels in the bottom.  And he just bought them last year.

LOL!  Does he skate around stores?

All the malls in my area banned those shoes awhile ago.

LOL!  My DH wanted them sooooo bad but he could never find any in his size!

As for the squeakers, they are cute but I could see issues arising with our dogs thinking our future children feet are squeaky toys!

he does.  But he was also a skateboarder for the majority of his life.  I guess he is happiest when he is moving faster than everyone else.

Karrey, as someone who was known as "Scooter Girl" in college, I have to say I heartily approve of your husband owning those shoes.

Adults - yes. 5-year olds with poor balance - no.

    Glad you approve.

We had to search high and low to find them and they were super expensive. BUT....you could also take the wheels out and they became regular shoes.  I never denied marrying a 12 year old boy.

  • My nephew had a pair of those Christmas 2008.  Actually they are really funny sounding.  I wouldn't want them for everyday, but for occasional wear, I would.  Esp. the team ones!
