Party Question

I am throwing our annual Superbowl party, and I got a big board for Superbowl Squares at Target for about $2.  I think it's fun for some of the not-really football fans to have something to root for during the game.  :-)

My question is, should I tell anyone who's interested to bring a couple of dollars and let people play for money, or pick up some small gifts and have those as prizes for the winners?  I was thinking things like a $5 Wegmans gift card, a bottle of wine, etc.

PersonalMilestone

Re: Party Question

  • You might want to mention to your guests that you are "selling" football squares if they are interested and set a price point.  That way, they know either way if they would like to participate.
  • We always have different squares for our superbowl party.  Usually we have $1, $5 and $10 squares.  Depending on how many people you have you could do multiple squares or just one.
