**Karrey(and any other Saints fan)**
BIIIIIG congrats on your team winning that game and making it to the Superbowl!!! I can't think of one single team more deserving. I'm also super happy because I now have a team playing in it that I can REALLY root for since mine didn't make it!
GO SAINTS! (or is it Geaux Saints?! lol)
Re: **Karrey(and any other Saints fan)**
Thank you love. Many a years of being dragged through the mud and tempted to be full of shame for a team that could never find a way. Their motto has always been Faith. This is such a wonderful moment to be proud of. We are a humble place but this is so deserving in my opinion to a place that has overcome a lot and fought hard to rebuild, reclaim and do something to be proud of.
Fireworks all over the neighborhood popped tonight and all the neighbors are outside living it up. Does my heart good.
Now it's time take on those Colts in the three oh five!
This. Though I really feel for the Vikings and Favre ::puts on flame resistant body suit::
They were shooting off fireworks on the next street over at my house too, it was incredible! Do you believe in destiny??? I know I do!!! GEAUX SAINTS! It's a great time to be in NOLA
As a total partial observer of that game, I honestly feel that a lot of calls went (or didn't go) against the Vikings during the Saints "winning" drive at the end. In my opinion, they were given a lot of opportunities to win and thankfully for them they took advantage and did just that. The Vikings just made too many turnovers and it seems that the better team won. Congrats to the Saints, I just wish it would've been it a more clear cut victory because that win left a bad taste in my mouth and that's coming from someone who didn't care one way or the other who won. I'm not a Colts fan, but I do like Peyton Manning, so that's who I'll be rooting for in the big game.
It was however so nice to see all the people of New Orleans be so genuinely happy, their fans really deserved it after all they've been through.
Wasn't sure if this was for me or Lore but the reason I am a Colts fan is 1) I have a lot of friends who live in Indiana (South Bend area, and no I am NOT a Norte Dame fan
)
2) I really really just like Peyton Manning and the team as a whole.
It was for Lore.
I think its great that they WON!! The city and state really needed it!
Ups!! ::runs away from post::
I thought it was a good game and I agreed with whoever said the Saints deserved to win. The Vikings just had too many pick offs and mistakes ... they had an off day so they definitely deserved to win.
I'm torn on who to root for on the Superbowl because I love underdogs (Saints), New Orleans (Saints) but I also like Peyton Manning (Colts) and Indiana is my neighbor state (Colts). Soooooo. Time shall tell!
This was my thought =D.
As soon as I knew the Steelers weren't making the playoffs, I was rooting for anyone that's never been to the Superbowl. So, we will be hosting a party this year rooting for the Saints!
