Yogurt lovers...

... have you tried the Stonyfield Farm Greek yogurt yet? OMG it is fantastic! Fat free, organic, creamy as a dessert... what's not to love?!

(Well actually it's on the expensive side. But I'd rather spend a bit more and have something this delicious & healthy, too!)

Re: Yogurt lovers...

  • I will have to try it!  I like activia with garnola and strawberries!
  • I'm a fan of it!  I've had other Greek yogurt brands and I didn't like them, but this one was good.  The plain also works pretty well to make low fat/fat free dips.  I tried it this weekend.
  • It's been on sale at Kroger so I've stocked up.  I like it, but I like Fage better.

The protein content compared to regular yogurt is double (usually about 13-15g per serving) and the sugar/carb content is less.  This is great when you're on a diet especially if you're working out and need all the protein you can get without increasing calories/fat by too much.

ETA: I usually go for the vanilla flavored because the plain tastes too much like sour cream to me.  The vanilla goes well with honey and all kinds of fruit and granola imo.

  • I love greek yogurt! I only buy it when I get the coupon or when it's on sale. I agree it's pricey, but for what you're getting out of it. It's so enjoyable.

I love greek yogurt with honey, then I crumble 2 graham crackers and top it with fresh blueberries. It's heaven on earth!!! YUM!

okay, so that sounds delicious.  i PPH honey.  so the vanilla kind is the way to go then?

  • Vanilla is the only kind I have tried so far, but the website says they have a honey flavor as well! I need to investigate this!!
  • I love the honey kind.  I usually buy the plain Fage and add my own honey - so I can add as much as I want.

It's so creamy and delicious.  I feed it to Katie when I buy the full fat kind (minus the honey of course).
