Not sure if you saw my tweet, but the library class sucked. She handed us a pattern with initials that I was googling throughout the class to figure out. The only thing I learned was a basic chain (the way you make a knot in crochet).
I'm gonna try to learn on the interwebs now. Lame class...I shouldn't complain since it was free.

I'm kind of glad I didn't go now but I'm also disappointed it wasn't better than that. I really would love to learn to crochet. My mom gave me the blanket that she made when she was pg with me so I'm going to use that to bring babe home with (it's green) but I'd love to be able to make my babe little things too!
Purling isn't too bad...not sure if you know about this site, but they have great tutorials that I learned from (about knitting, at least).

Aww yeah...my gma is the one who makes me want to crochet. She made little crochet squares and sewed them together to make blankets. Her arthritis nowadays prevents her from doing it, so she can't teach me.
