I just cracked up over the Woodstock lady losing her sh*t on you. So hilarious! Those videos scare the ever living crud out of you.
And if for some reason you DO have to have an c/s, it is REALLY not that bad. The recovery was nothing and honestly, I'd take a c/s over tears anyday!
Re: Shoe
That lady was effing nuts. She was like, "I know it may appear easier but c-section's are NOT the easy way out! They have to cut through your uterine wall!" All I could think was, did you not just see that video? An alien crawled out of her vagina!!! I'll take a severed uterine wall!!!
I told MH afterwards that I just have no idea what good can come from showing that video to a room full of 8-9mo pg women. My eyes were going back and forth between burning and falling out of my head. And my poor H's hand hurt b/c I was squeezing it so hard!
You know, I've always been terrified of a c/s but after seeing the alternative up close, I'm not so sure which is worse. And that sucks b/c before seeing that little horror show, I was fine with the thought of a vaginal birth. I mean, I knew the logistics of how it all was going to happen but I was ok with it. But now that I've actually seen it...yeah, that sh*t is burned in my brain.
haha
I know, after we left our class I told DH that I wasn't sure I could do it. He was like "well, a little late for that now!"
What video did you watch?
Don't forget your body is MADE to do this. It is nothing you can't handle.
I definitely said the exact same thing.
You sound like that woman. It was called Hello Baby. Totally filmed in the 70's or 80's.
LOL! I had that thought last night. Update is in my blog.
