Charlotte-Avon Walk for Breast Cancer
Hi. I am from Chicago, doing the AVON walk for breast cancer this October.
I have family that lives in Raliegh, but I don't know anyone in Charlotte. I signed up for Charlotte just because I thought it would be a fun/different place to walk. Anyone doing the walk that wants a buddy?

I don't do the walk but I am one of the volunteers (going on year 5 now). Have you looked into the training walks? That's a great way to meet up with other people doing the big walk.

Yeah I have looked into training walks, but I would do them here in Chicago. It would be nice to have someone that I know to walk with in Charlotte in October. 40 miles is along way to walk alone, I guess I didn't think of that before signing up. Oh well...I am personable...I am sure I will meet some people there
