he works from home and yes he has a lot of emailing, paper work and sales reports to do .... i get that. but it bugs me that he's taking a nap when i come home and then camps out on the LR floor all night with his laptop in his lap and half the time watching TV. i know i'm not always right, but it just seems like he'd be more focused if he committed to doing that work from his office w/o the distraction of the TV. that way he gets the work done, then comes down and enjoys the rest of the night with me. he hasn't used his actual office in probably 6 months. we just spent a good chunk of money redoing that room and if its not put to use i'm going to be pissed! i'm sick of him camping out on the LR floor with his papers and computer all over the place!
Re: DH vent
That would drive me insane too. My DH works from home but he is soooo strict on himself to work IN the office with no TV...he even gets on me about having the LR TV on if it's too loud during "work" hours. I think if you explained to him that his nap and TV time are taking away from your time together he should probably understand that. Maybe he's putting off work because he's frustrated and needs a little encouraging to get remotivated.
Good luck, I'm sure a talk will help out a ton.
