What a dreary morning. How was everyone's weekend?
Ours was nice. We had dinner with my brother and his gf on Friday night. Saturday we didn't do much, just visited my grandmother and went out to lunch with the last of a gc we got for Christmas.
Yesterday we had a couple over for dinner and then played pictionary. We hardly get to see them so it was a lot of fun :-)
Re: Good morning ladies :-)
Morning! My weekend was good. We had a romantic date night in Saturday...I consumed half a bottle of champagne which was much needed after the ridiculousness of visiting my in-laws Saturday afternoon.
We got Luka out hiking both days, and Sunday we had dinner with friends.
Good morning! We had a good weekend- relatively relaxing, so that was nice!
Friday after work, I picked up my new glasses (love them!) and hung out with the animals. DH didn't get home until 1:30 from his trip to Nashville.
Saturday, I went to bodypump then FIL stopped by for 10 minutes (if that) to drop off some firewood on his way to visit his sister in W.Mass. DH and I had a lazy afternoon then we met my parents at the mall. My mom made me go dress shopping for a bat mitzvah we're going to in a few weeks. I found a dress and we had dinner at Blue Stove in Nordstroms (so good!). I made homemade laundry detergent on Saturday night while we watched a movie (Funny People).
Sunday, I washed clothes in the laundry detergent and they smell great! I hit up Sears & Marshalls and then food shopping... then made dinner (blooming herb bread, lemon dill chicken with garlic pan fried broccoli & cauliflower).
My weekend was pretty boring. I was all by my lonesome because I, awesome wife that I am, sent DH off to Tahoe to go snowboarding with his friends because they've had lots of snow up there recently. He really deserved a break.
So I spent most of Saturday with my family. First we took my grandfather out to dim sum for his birthday, then did some grocery shopping in Chinatown, and the rest of the day was a little of this and that.
Yesterday was very low key. I cleaned up the house a bit then spent the rest of the day working on my knitting project. Knitting is much more complicated than crochet!
I had a great time this weekend! Friday night we finished getting caught up on Lost.
Saturday we went to CT for the day. We switched some furniture with my mom, finally exchanged christmas gifts, and then went out for a late lunch with my mom & stepdad at the place we got married to celebrate our anniversary. When we got back up here in the evening, we started season 3 of the Tudors- so good!
Yesterday we did the grocery shopping, cleaned and did laundry, went to a bar to watch the first football game, and I made a new recipe for dinner. It was a relaxing (kind of expensive on the eating out side) weekend!
My weekend starts today, but the past few days were nice. Friday night I worked. Saturday afternoon, DH and I went into Boston early and had lunch at the Chart House (delicious!) and we walked around Quincy Market. Then I worked until 11. Sunday was just another day around the apartment too. We went running in the morning. I really have to get back into it because I'm running a 5k in March. Last night was soooo slow at work (only 9% occupancy) so I left a little early.
Today is my Saturday though. I have a doctors appointment this afternoon and then I'll probably just hang around the apartment since the weather is so crappy. Tomorrow I have a weight watchers meeting at the hotel and then I'll probably go up to Beverly to visit my grammy for lunch.
But I'm excited for Jeff Dunham on Thursday!!
morning
My weekend was very busy.
I worked Friday night (until 1am Saturday).
Saturday I worked 10am-12, went to a friends house for lunch, worked 3-5, went into Boston to have dinner with my sister, then worked 10-1:30am.
Sunday I cleaned the entire house and went food shopping and thankfully only had to work about an hour in the afternoon.
I am so exhausted today, I just want to nap.
Sounds like you need a vacation!
oh I totally do. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening anytime before April. Even just a day off would be awesome!

ugh, I wish I could! The first two weeks of Jan were pretty good. Things just keep getting busier. I do get paid overtime though, so at least I'm getting something out of it!
Ya you definitely can't complain about the extra money, but dude working til the wee hours of the morning on the weekend? I wouldn't be able to do it haha.
My weekend was pretty good, but definitely jam-packed.
Saturday I did a little bit of cleaning and rearranging in preparation for the arrival of more stuff, then made some homemade almond cookies, and a homemade key lime pie. (Never again- it is a PAIN to juice key limes!!)
Around 4, FI arrived with his driving buddy and the moving truck, and they unloaded everything into the apartment, with me directing them where to go hahaha. Then I made dinner (pork schnitzel, stuffed zucchini, and risotto cakes) and we all sat and ate and rested momentarily, then we went out to a few bars in Harvard Square and had some drinks. I unpacked a little when we got home, then we all passed out exhausted.
I woke up later than the boys on Sunday, only to find them napping in the living room, so I did some more unpacking and took out all our photos and put them all around. When the boys were up and ready, we went out for lunch then back to the apartment to relax before our buddy left for his flight. I got most of the living room unpacked, then FI's cousin and my friend (same person) came over for dinner, and I made chicken and broccoli au gratin, and we snacked on leftover cookies and pie. When she left, I unpacked most of the kitchen, and we watched a few episodes of House and went to sleep.
The move is finally over, and FI is back for good and at work today- all I have left to do is unpack and organize!!
Welcome, officially, to Boston!
Pretty good.
We went to CT on Friday, then on Saturday morning my mom and I took my cat to the vet (follow up on her infected tooth... it's improving, but not better, so we just have to keep an eye on her and her tooth), then ran errands for another 4 hours (ugh). Then we went to a black tie dinner, which was fun but I ate waaaaay too much- luckily I chose to wear the older dress that's a tad loose, instead of the newer dress that was rather snug.
Sunday I made a big breakfast, mom and I ran more errands, DH and I helped her clean the basement and we took the rest of the stuff I had stored there before I moved. Then we all came back to MA and went out for tapas- yum!!! My parents loved the restaurant.?
Well good afternoon! I have been so overloaded at work today this is the first chance I got to check things out on here.
My weekend was pretty good. I got to go see my friends and their new son on Friday evening which was nice.
Saturday I felt like poop. I was pretty nauseous all day long and didn't feel like moving.
Sunday I actually felt like a normal person. I went shopping with my mom, had dinner with the in laws and watched football. The Saints/Vikings game was one of the best I have ever seen.
