Did you say you were gonig to tell your parents about the baby this weekend?
*** butting out ****
Cassie- we told our parents last weekend. My parents were here for the week so we invited his up for dinner last Saturday. I had scanned my ultrasound picture, pasted onto a document, used a kids-like font and typed "Can't wait to meet you on or about August 20th. Love, Baby JB"
I set them under their dinner plates on the table and after we said the blessing, I had the parents look under their plates. My mom screamed and jumped up, my dad cried (He's a crier). J's parents were excited, but slower to respond and less emotional than my parents. But that's how they are.
After my appointment on Thursday, I told my siblings, my grandmother, my bffs, and some of my aunts and uncles know. (In my family, only telling family is like telling 40-50 people). I also told my boss, b/c I've been sick as a dog this last week and have been terrified someone will find me throwing up at work! We'll go public after the NT scan which is on 2/8. I want to see that little baby one more time before I tell the whole wide world.
That's wonderful!
What an adorable way to tell them! Congrats, again! I'm so excited for you...and love the siggy
