I voted hosting a party.. but it will most likely be me, DH, DD and the cats.. and maybe one of DHs friends. We try to have a party every year but people always bail. The most people we've ever had was like 4 people besides us. The first year we planned for a big party and we got a HUGE snowstorm.. so no one came.

I didn't really vote.. I am not hosting, not attending and I only a little bit care to see if I win on the boards and I will be making my own junk and sitting home with my pooch (its her bday too) and hanging out as DH Has to work.

OTHER! We are having a party for two at home since we are super duper busy every friggen second of every weekend until April. Not complaining, but its our last chance to be in jammers all day alone.

I am looking forward to making some yummy food (crab corn chowder and lots of snacks) for DH and I, and just hanging out with Evan and watching the game. Go Colts! (DH is rooting for the Saints, so we'll have a little bet going too)

I'm not interested. The Superbowl is always the weekend of my birthday, and sometimes ON my birthday, but luckily DH doesn't care much about it either, so we usually just do our own thing. If we get invited to a party, and don't have birthday plans, we usually go, just because we like hanging out with people.

And can I just say, every time I hear my FIL *** about how it's not fair his birthday always falls on Father's Day or Father's Day weekend, I want to punch him in the face. At least those are both holidays that celebrate him! I could give a crap about the Superbowl, which really makes it hard for me to have a birthday party that isn't also a Superbowl party, unless I have my birthday party (if I'm having one) on another day. Is that really a big deal, FIL? No! LOL! I just want to tell him 'waahhhh!'
