As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I have a charity/donation question
Is it breaking the nest rules of "no soliciting" if I post about a charity event that I am seeking donations for??
I want to know before I do so.

As long as you only post it on your 'regular' boards you should be okay. A better thing to do would be to link the donation site in your siggy. Then make a post telling people about the event and why you're raising money and that a link for more info is in your siggy.
I don't think anyone will report charity solicitations but it's best to keep in our your home boards. kwim?

ps - my sister just donated platelets last week. When she told me (she does it once a year or so), I told her about YH and she was touched that she helped someone.
