Re: What is your Favorite thing?

  • My favorite thing lately is:

On the weekends when I wake up I make my tea and peanut butter toast and sit in my front room with my pajamas still on. I love it. The room is so bright, airy and cozy. I look out at the field while I eat my toast and drink my tea and then I read the local paper we get the day before. Its the perfect way to start my weekend. Sometimes its by myself or if my fiance is up he joins me.

When my fiance and I lived right in the city I loved getting up somewhat early on Saturday and heading over to the Strathcona Farmers Market to pick up delicous grub for the rest of the weekend. In the summer it was usually followed by a picnic in one of the citys awesome parks.

  • My favorite thing is getting the flyers.  I stake out the driveway waiting for them to arrive.  When I get them I arrange them in the order I want to read them.  Then I read them all and put aside the ones I want to read again, usually the grocery ones and Shoppers.  I love me some flyers!

  • My favourite this is hanging out with DH. We work together, live together, go out with friends together...virtually together 24/7 but I mean when we really hang out. Just us, sitting, talking, laughing and having a great time, totally relaxed and only into each other (no tv, no anything else). Sometimes we get this at home, or sometimes if it's been awhile, we need to make a special effort to get away and out together. We probably do this every 1-2 weeks.

I love when the flyers come!!!

I love having a nice hot tea in the morning. Oh and I love movie days when it is snowing or raining really hard outside.

  • I was going to post reading the flyers too!! (We get them Saturday morning) but I thought it was lame-o. I guess I am not the only one :P The flyers, to me, are a sign that it is the weekend and time to relax!!
