Newcomer intro and question regarding commute
Hi ladies! I'm new to this board so I thought I'd introduce myself first before asking a question. DH and I moved from NYC to Boston this past summer and so far we're loving it. We haven't met too many people yet except for those through work, so I am eager to "meet" all of you and learn a bit more about Boston.
My question is, DH is looking at a job prospect in the Chelmsford/ Lowell area. We're currently living in Brookline. Any ideas on how bad his commute would be traveling from Brookline during rush hour?

Re: Newcomer intro and question regarding commute
He would be going against the traffic, so it probably wouldn't be too bad. I think it's about 45 minutes ish.
Welcome to the board and the area though! I hope you are liking it :-)
Hi! Welcome! :-)
I don't know about the commute either, I live on the South Shore, but hope you are liking Boston so far!
Welcome!
I live in the Chelmsford/Lowell area. He probably wouldn't have any problems getting to work in the morning since he'd be going against traffic. Going home may be a little tougher. 95 can be bad in both directions, but going south is better than going north, so that's good for him.
