question for moms and moms to be
did anyone do interviews for a pediatrician and if so was DH there with you?
i made an appt with one for thursday and DH said he would go with me if i wanted him to but he's not sure if he could really afford to miss work. just wanted some advice. TIA!

That was on my " to do" list before I was induced.
I do suggest interviewing, and your DH to be there with you. With our first Pedi I wasn't happy with him, but thought I was just being picky. When we took Lo to her current Pedi we both walked out of there happy and satisfied knowing she would be carrying for Lo (medical wise).

We didn't interview him, but everytime I asked people who they recommended, his name came up 9 out of 10 times. Even when it wasn't their pedi! He was only taking newborns with certain insurance as new patients and thankfully we had what it took to get in.
We love him!
(He wears cowboys boots and wranglers with his white coat.)
