Re: **doggie cupcakes or treat recipes**

  • We make Bentley frozen yogurt treats. He's never been a fan of cakes or cookies. :) They're super easy to make. I just buy plain yogurt at the store and a bottle of baby food (usually sweet potato or blueberry and apples). Mix them together and freeze them. Done :)
  • you can always get the ones in the frozen case at the store, might be easier since u have the baby..

I was going to mention buying Frosty Paws and then put a "candle" in it (like one of those stick-type dog treats).

    Happy birthday to your pup!

  • Today, is my dog's birthday too! I made him cupcakes.  He probably shouldn't be eating them, but I figured it was his birthday so one wouldn't hurt.  I have been making cupcakes for my dogs for years.  Happy birthday to your dog!
  • Rachel Ray Mag site should have dog friendly recipes. She probably even gives you ideas for a dog party.

I would just go with the frosty paws or something else really simple.

  • It's probably too late, and I don't know if you give your dog "people" food, but for special treats for our old girl, I'll mix some cooked ground beef, broth and some rice together for her dinner.

I love the frozen treat idea with the yogurt and baby food! - I'm totally going to try that!

yay! Your pup will love them :) I despise the commercial frozen ones bc there is so much junk in them. These are so cheap (about $1.10 gives you 4 of the same size treats as the frosty paws and they're $4!) Plus they're much healthier (but we feed all natural not from grocery store food so that's important to us). Let me know what your pup thinks :)
