I'm a caveperson
::sigh:: Our television is out until Friday. I am flippin mad at DirectTv at this moment but there's not much I can do. One storm and boom, no service.
I may have to read a book or God forbid talk to my husband. LOL. I really like tv though. Boo.

This is true. It's amazing what you can do without the boob tube. We have full cable now, but we went a good four months without it after we moved simply to save some money.
I feel your pain on how frustrating it is to lose something during the storm. I'm an internet addict, so when the internet goes I out I get angry.
Agree with pps. There's a ton of shows you can watch on the internet. It's great!
DH purposely kept our TV and internet providers separate so if the dish goes out, we still have internet for our entertainment value.
Ummm yeah, I failed to mention that my computer got a nasty virus and doesn't work and our PC is on the fritz too... so I don't have any Internet at home. I am a caveperson for real. No Internet, no tv. :;sigh:: and I was home sick yesterday without anything to do. Paul is home sick today. Praying baby doesn't get sick especially since his birthday is tomorrow!!!!
Ditto! I even have an old "Best of Friends" VHS set that I watch when cable goes out. I love that show!
