I know she is not a huge celebrity, but I was still star struck, especially seeing what she was buying

The salon I go to, Deb from 101X is their client. And my stylist was telling me, she is radio talk host (so her apearance on air is not really seen), but she gets all sort of shiz for free, hair cut, color, tanning, mani, pedi, ...
that's pretty normal. dh was on-air in radio in dallas back around 2003. on air talent got everything from free gym memberships to cars. they were considered "tastemakers" so companies would pile stuff on them in hopes it would bring biz from us normal folks. lol.

i loved ilona! i miss her sooooo much. she was my favorite local news personality and it was so nice seeing her on a couple months ago when they were in between weather people. megan's finally grown on me but she had big shoes to fill with ilona.
