Our first anniversary is this week!
Our first anniversary is less than a week away. We had a really difficult first year of marriage and I wasn't sure we would even make it this far. I want to do something special for my husband. Any ideas? We're spending the night at the same hotel we spent our wedding night in and we're going out for a nice dinner. Does anybody have any ideas of something else creative we could do to make it special?

If you are still living in the town where you got married, you could go back to the wedding local and tell him your vows again. Something along the lines of knowing this first year was difficult, but you still mean everything you said.
If you didn't write your vows, you could now. I know it's super cheesy, but I think it would be special, too.

That idea actually popped in my head yesterday! But our anniversary is on Sunday and I don't think they can get it done in three days.
