1st birthday jungle theme...cold foods
We will be having my Lo's bday at the park, they do not have outlets so I need to figure out a menu for the adults as well as the kids. I'm more concerned over the adults. Any creative ideas out there?
TIA
Re: 1st birthday jungle theme...cold foods
cheddar pecan balls
bruschetta
hummus w/ pita points
Smoked salmon/trout w/ fresh bread and grain mustard
vegetarian sushi (I'm a fan of cream cheese and asparagus rolls myself)
Can your order pizza?
If not, supermarket deli trays (cheese, chicken tenders, deli meats) don't usually need warming, but shouldn't be kept in a place that too hot.
I keep thinking a bowl of shrimp on ice too. Not sure if that would work for you.
HTH.
You can make the small potatoes with any sauce.... corn on sticks with another or the same sauce ... different kinds of chips ... and just fill up the table with all kinds of stuff you find on the market it might seem a bad idea but believe me it will work
Assorted wrap sandwiches would work well in the park and could have a more "adventurous" ingredients...
Good Luck!
