Sew......
Cascade had multiple offers and came back to all the offers and said give us your best/highest that you are willing to give. Ugh. We can say that we did give our best/highest. Our max was 250 and we went to 260 because of Jason's job. Gotta decide if we want to go higher. Every 1000 increase is a $6 morgage increase.
I'm still hoping for Mirasol! Wish us luck! It is a smaller house, so our offer may be more appropriate - but in this market, I feel like everything will just slip through our fingers.
The Drama Continues...
Re: Cascade Counter Offer
I feel as though fate will lead you in the direction of the house you're meant to have. And I feel as though you'll be happy there
Code is right. Resist the temptation to stretch yourself too thin.
When do you think you'll hear back from Mirasol?

Ditto!
Thritto!
Move to PHX!!! You can get two nice sized houses for that amount!!!
Good luck lady! Everything will happen the way it is supposed to be! House hunting is a very frustrating and tideous process.
I think thats a good plan... When DH and I were looking, its almost like the seller is testing you.
Our house was up for sale for 120K. We originally offered 105 + pay our closing costs = pay for first year of home warranty
They came back with 115 no warranty.
We countered at 112, WITH the warranty and closing costs. AND GOT IT!
I think sometimes they just want to see how high or how much yo are willing to budge. We werent willing to budge much. In the height of the realestate craze someone bought our house for 220K...so I have faith that we will earn equity some day...most likely will not get that high agin. but yeah
Zillow.com was one of my BFF's while house hunting. You can see how much the current owner bought the hosue for. What other houses in the area are selling for...etc
