Anyone watch American Idol last night?
I thought Avril Lavigne was terrible as a guest judge. I don't know what it was about her, but she annoyed me throughout the show.

I started to watch it and Avril really annoyed me. The dude that was the worship pastor - while I would think he would be happy being a pastor - I am not the one to decide what he does with his life. BUT for Avril to say she didn't think he should go to the next round b.c he has a family and all of the travel involved - who is she? Don't you think he has thought about all of this before he auditioned? Wasn't she like 10 when she started her career? Don't you think you were too young to start traveling? Go AWAY.
With that said I am so over American Idol - we aren't watching anymore.
Yes! That part really annoyed me too. She was so rude to him and others who were older and had families too. She came off as being so close minded and immature that I just wanted to reach through the tv and smack her. And she's not even a good singer herself, so for her to be judging others was just a joke.

I actually really liked Katy Perry though - I thought she was quite honest and I totally agreed with her when she said to Kara that you shouldn't be letting someone through just b/c you feel bad for them - it should be based on their singing alone. Supposedly Simon is leaving after this year - i think she'd be a good replacement! haha
Do you listen to Bob and the Showgram? Because I heard the same thing on Kristin's hollywood headlines. I don't normally watch Idol, but the fighting between the judges always piques my interest.
Well I was listening to The Bro Fro morning show on 96.1 The Beat. I don't ever watch it anymore either. But I thought it was hilarious that Katy Perry put that judge in her place. She kind of gets on my nerves. And who is she anyways?
Yet another reason why I don't like Idol anymore is Kara - whoever she may be.
