As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

XP/FU to dh's job loss.
Obviously I am staying here as a nanny....no brainer.
Dh is
talking to a lawyer. He should be able to get unemployment, the
employer is not contesting it. He is applying for work, although
nothing will pay what he made I fear. He has a meeting with the bigger
boss on Friday, not to beg for his job back but to let him know all of
the things that went wrong and/or how he was wronged.
We have a lot of support and networking possibilities, he is keeping all options open.
After a good cry, I was able to open up to him and show my support. We will get through this together.....we have to! It will be tough, and COBRA will cost a fortune but we will get a nicer tax refund thanks to DS this year which will help us!

you should look into family health plus insurance- its on a sliding scale-

there's also child health plus

so even if you don't qualify for medicaid, you can get this. its provided by BCBS so its good insurance, and i know its a lot less than cobra. dh and i looked into it because we pay 800 a month for health insurance for family at bcbs. we were trying to find more options but we just ended up staying with his current plan. hope that helps!
I also was going to suggest Child Health Plus for your little one! Pretty much anyone can qualify since what you pay each month depends on your monthly income. Check it out.
