According to your SN you are an "october bride" , was your wedding originally supposed to be in october and then you changed the date? What is the story behind that?
Re: Lorelei
Nope, just screwing with you...
Kidding! Yes, I was orig going to marry in October and was on the Oct 08 knotties for quite some time... The DAY I was going to sign with one place-meet a caterer, etc... I visited another that I loved to look at the hotel rooms for my guests, but the place was more than my budget for a reception-I didn't meet the minimum and we were having only 80-100 people.
Long story short, they made a 'deal' w me right then and there that I took! I had to change the date, though, but I really didn't care. DH and I met right across the street from this hotel-it was perfect! AND... they have certain rooms who have been known to have 'ghosts' in them. DH was extremely happy!!! He's a big ghost hunters tv fan... (below is my 'wedding bio' )http://sites.google.com/site/lorelai1028/reception
(our other option was an arts' education place that we'd have to cater, etc... I realized my face kept breaking out from the stress of planning EVERYTHING-food, linens, etc... and the new place I wouldn't have to deal w that.) Funny, I can't even remember our orig date for the wedding. HA!
I keep thinking I should change my name, but ... lazy?
thanks! The other place was called 'The Banana Factory'-which is also fitting...
